Well, better late than never, right? I have completely forgotten about our class website so I apologize to anyone who may have looked at it over the last two months! This is a great way to see what is happening in the classroom! We have been really busy learning about the letter C and O over the past few weeks and I hope your child(ren) have been talking about Cass and Oswald! We have been doing so many journal entries in our writing journals and I am can't wait to show all the parents at conferences! You will be extremely proud! In Math, we have been doing a lot with numbers 0-10 and I am happy to report all the students can recognize these numbers, which makes the work a lot easier! We will soon be starting 11-20 so please start working on these numbers at home!
We have also learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin! The students were very interested in this and are excited to cut open a pumpkin tomorrow to see what the inside looks like!
In sad news, we said goodbye to Ms. Lewis on Friday. Ms. Lewis accepted a new job and we were extremely sad to see her go! We wish her lots of luck in her new job and hope to see and hear from her soon! In the meantime, we will be on our own for a little while until a new aide is hired as a replacement! I am not worried because the students in K101 are doing such a wonderful job this year!
