The past week or so has been very busy in K6! We have learned the letter S and are now working on the letter L . The students are doing a great job sounding out words and we started writing words on our own this week! I'm very proud of their progress!
We finished our chapter in Math and took our test on Tuesday! We ar We finished our bulletin board display featuring the Grinch, Cindy Lou Who, and Max. We also made Christmas cards to send to Mr. Reichert and his unit in Afghanistan! The students did a beautiful job! December is here and our classroom has transformed into a winter wonderland! The students have been patiently awaiting the arrival of an elf friend, and on Friday, he finally arrived! We had a vote and decided to name him Jo-Jo! The students are excited to see where he will be hiding on Monday.
We will meet our new Superkid friend on Monday as well. His name is Sal and he loves the letter S and sports! |
